Solution Architect for Fund and Portfolio Services at SEB

What will you be doing? 

In this role, you will be a part of our Asset Management domain. We deliver fund and portfolio services supporting the Asset Management division. 

This domain is undergoing an exciting transformation, driven by customer demand for excellent digital service and technological advancements. The transformation is driven by customer demands of an excellent digital service as well as technology advancements. Our solutions serve both external customers and other domains, ensuring flexibility, modernity, and sustainability.  

Your primary focus will be to support new and existing solutions within the Fund & Portfolio services tribe, guiding their evolution towards the target architecture. 

As a Solution Architect, your responsibility will be to:  

• Collaborate closely with tech leads, development teams, and the domain architect on key projects such as platform migration, new feature development, and system optimization initiative 

• You will, through different initiatives, work with architecture during analysis, outlining and designing solutions and together with the development teams assure that the implementation is in accordance with the target architecture and principles.  

• Engage with the SEB architect community to align and materialize architecture roadmaps. 

• Be a trusted advisor for stakeholders within Business, Business Services, and Technology and be accountable for the architecture to meet client and business needs.

Must have skills:  

• Have at least five years of experience working with architecture.  

• Enjoy working with both strategic- and operational architecture, 

• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. 

• Are pragmatic in your solution ideas when you need to be and can visualize and clearly articulate the consequences of various technologies and platforms (both verbally and in written form). 

• Are fluent in English 

• Have a developer background, ideally with experience in backend development with modern programming languages and familiarity with cloud platforms. 

Nice-to-have skills:  

• Experience and interest in working with information architecture and integrations. 

• Enjoy working with agile methodologies for example SAFe agile framework.

Personal skills:

• You are passionate about creating business value by establishing robust and flexible architectures that involve different technologies and platforms. 

• Have a strong interest in keeping updated on the trends in the industry and technology.
