Our Order Management System (OMS) is a critical component of our trading infrastructure, handling high-volume transactions across multiple asset classes and exchanges. We’re looking for an experienced Senior C++ Developer to help enhance and scale this vital system.

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join our Order Management Team, responsible for developing and maintaining systems that process large volumes of financial transactions in real-time. As part of this team, you’ll contribute to the core trading infrastructure, ensuring low-latency, high-performance order execution, and compliance with exchange regulations.

You are a team player who will work closely with product owners and other teams to design and implement features that enhance the banks offering to both internal and external clients. You should be able to understand problems from the user’s perspective and collaborate with other developers on high-level concepts. Each developer is responsible for the entire process, including architecture, design, coding, deployment, customer feedback, and bug fixes - ensuring full control and ownership of their work without dividing tasks among multiple people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a high-performance Order Management System (OMS) using C++ to handle real-time transactions across multiple financial exchanges and asset classes.
• Implement low-latency, high-throughput algorithms to optimize order routing, execution, and trade processing.
• Work with multithreaded and distributed systems to ensure scalability and reliability in a 24/7 trading environment.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand and develop features to support their needs.
• Perform performance tuning, profiling, and troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime and high system availability.
• Mentor junior team members, conduct code reviews, and contribute to setting best practices and architectural standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in C++ (C++14/17/20), proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, experience with Git and CI tools (preferably GitHub Actions), and a solid understanding of Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and networking protocols.
• Ability to work with legacy systems and mainframe environments and supporting smooth integration with them.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with trading environments, like Order Management Systems, including experience with equities, derivatives, or foreign exchange (FX) markets.
• Experience with FIX protocol and other financial messaging formats.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for managing trade data.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
